"Shadow Hearts ~ Edge of the World" (formerly "Rest of the World") continues "Shadow Hearts from the new world" with 7 brand-new leading characters traveling through the rest of the world (Australia, Africa, India, Poles...) in a funny and exciting story.

Gerald is the grandfather of the Valentine vampire family (SH1: Keith - Silver Bat, SH2: Joachim - Golden Bat, SH3: Hildegard/Hilda - Pink Bat). He loves the high art of opera, and his animal form is the Black Bat.

Yes,but him being a vampire,wouldn't it mean he's young?
I mean it'd be rather funny,if he looked the same age as his grandkids and yet they referred him as "grandfather"

Possible and interesting is both I think. Maybe he can have a young and an old appearance version. (Every Valentine has different appearances anyway. We thought of his alternative version of being a mummy or so. But a young version would be sweet, yeah.)
